Editor’s Note: This post has been completely revamped and updated for accuracy on May 2022 and reflects an up-to-date selection of the best wide width Nike shoes for women.
Have you been looking relentlessly for a pair of Nike shoes that can accommodate the shape of your wide feet? Do you feel like every single shoe style that you try feels too tight and pinches your toes? You might have to deal with your high instep in addition to your wide feet, which makes it even more complicated to find shoes that fit.
Nike is not my favorite shoe brand for women with wide feet, as there are other shoe brands such as New Balance and Saucony that manufacture better shoes for women with wide feet. Whichever your reason might be for wanting to wear Nike sneakers, I will be able to show you a selection of their widest styles.
I have helped hundreds of women with wide feet find the perfect pair of shoes. I have been working for a specialized shoe store for the last 10 years in which we specialize in women with foot and leg problems, but we provide regular shoe fittings as well.
I have been contacted by several women who want to know if there are any Nike shoe styles capable of accommodating the shape of their wide feet. The answer is yes, but the selection is very limited. I have noticed that most of their shoe styles that claim to fit the shape of a wide foot don’t actually fit that wide. Some of these shoe styles are labeled as wide (“W”, “2EE”), but they fit like a medium width (“M”).
Nike finally understood that one width doesn’t fit all, but simply manufacturing shoes labeled as wide (“W”) doesn’t mean that the shoes will automatically fit the shape of a wide foot.
I have fitted all of their wider shoe styles, and I was able to only come up with 2 styles that are actually capable of fitting a wide foot. I have tested and fitted these shoe styles in women with wide feet and high insteps and they were capable of accommodating the shape of their feet perfectly.
The good news is that these 4 shoe styles are supportive but lightweight and flexible at the same time, so you can walk all day in them or do some serious running and exercises. You will be able to wear these shoes for everyday walking or long distance running.
Without further ado, let’s take a look at a selection of the best wide width Nike shoes for women. Disclosure: Keep in mind that we may receive commissions when you click our links and make purchases.

What Shoe Size Should You Order?
To prevent your toes from rubbing against the front or side part of the shoes, I highly recommend that you order the shoes a whole size larger than the size that your feet measure. This translates to 3/8 of an inch or 0.8 centimeters of space between your longest toe and the end of the shoes.
