Do you have a hard time wearing slip on sneakers as they all tend to slip off of your feet? Are you looking for a pair of easy on and off sneakers that are capable of accommodating your narrow feet? Finding a pair of slip on sneakers for a woman with narrow feet can be a frustrating and time-consuming experience. Based on my several years of shoe fitting experience I have put together a list of the best narrow slip on sneakers for women, and I will show you this list shortly.
How Do I Know Which Slip On Sneakers Work Best for Women with Narrow Feet?
I have fitted women’s shoes for many years at a shoe store that specializes in helping people with “complicated” foot shapes as well as foot problems. I have helped several women with narrow feet find the perfect pair of shoes for their feet, and I believe I will be able to help you too.
Finding shoes for women with narrow feet is a lot more challenging than finding shoes for women with wide or extra wide feet. I mention this because a lot of women who come to the shoe store complain about how hard it is to find shoes for their wide feet, but they don’t know that it is a lot more challenging to find shoes for a person with narrow feet.
The Challenges of Finding Narrow Shoes for Women
Several shoe companies manufacture shoes in wide and extra wide widths, but only a few companies make narrow-width shoes for women. The cost of mass-produced shoes is kept low by producing only the most common styles (medium and wide widths). The fewer variations there are, the less the cost is for shoe companies. So, for women with narrow feet like yours, it gets harder to find shoes that fit.
What Makes the Slip On Sneakers that I Recommend Ideal for Women with Narrow Feet?
The slip on sneakers that I recommend provide narrow heel counters which makes them ideal for women with narrow feet. The heel counter is the back part of the shoes, and the narrower it is, the better it will accommodate the shape of your narrow feet. Take a look at the image below for better visualization purposes:
Where Can You Find Slip On Sneakers that Provide Narrow Heel Counters?
You can visit your local shoe store and check whether they sell slip on sneakers with narrow heel counters or shoes that are available in narrow widths (N). If you don’t have a store in your area keep on reading as I will show you a list of the best slip on sneakers for women with narrow feet.

Are these Slip On Sneakers Still Too Wide for Your Feet?
If you try any of the slip on sneakers that I recommend and they are still slipping out of your feet or simply feel too wide, I will share the most popular and effective way of making your slip-on sneakers more suitable for narrow feet.
The first step is to insert a tongue-pad inside and under the tongue of the shoe, which is a great method that will prevent your shoe from slipping off the foot. A tongue pad is an adhesive pad that is placed under the tongue of the shoe. It pushes your heels back against the end of the shoes, preventing the shoe from slipping off! Take a look at the picture below for better visualization purposes:
In the picture below you can see what a tongue pad looks like and where the tongue pad fits inside the slip-on shoe:
In case you don’t like how the shoes feel with the tongue pad, then you can easily remove it by pulling it off.
If you want to learn more about tongue pads and where to get them for the best price, you should take a look at an article I wrote where I describe the best tongue pads for women. Go to the link below:
