Editor’s Note: This post has been completely revamped and updated for accuracy on May 2022 and reflects an up-to-date selection of the cheapest Ugg boots for women.
Getting closer to the winter you might consider buying a pair of stylish, comfortable, and affordable pair of boots, and if you are looking for a brand that meets these criteria – Ugg is the brand for you!
Did you know that if you wear a shoe size 8 ½ or less you can get the kids’ version of the shoes (in this case Ugg boots), and end up saving a lot of money?
Let me explain to you how this shoe size conversion works:
To get the kids’ version of the shoes, you need to subtract a whole size and a half from the shoe size that you usually wear, and that will convert to your kids’ shoe size.
A women’s shoe size 7 1/2 translates to a child’s shoe size 6. A women’s shoe size 6 translates to a child’s shoe size 5 1/2. I hope you find this information very useful. Moreover, you can order a children’s size not just for boots, but you can do it for any type of footwear, as long as you are a foot size 8 1/2 or below.
I wrote a post where you can learn more about how this shoe size conversion works and you can find it here:

Ugg Boots – What Features Do They Provide?
The classic style (which is the one I recommend), will completely insulate you from the harsh cold weather. The twin face sheepskin gives UGG® an identity of quality and comfort that makes it quite popular and essential fashion style among kids.
The boot is made of EVA outsole patented tread design with a shaft height of 6 inches, insole made of UGG® pure TM wool and a twin face sheepskin with nylon binding foam. However, the suede side of the sheepskin is vulnerable to discoloration and staining when subjected to moisture. This can be prevented by using the UGG® Care Kit to ensure permanency by reading and following the instructions. The product is best as it contains natural fur from sheep and lamb.
The classic style features:
- Stylish Look
- Quality Design
- Handmade sole
- Shaft measures approximately 7″ from arch
Like I mentioned before, if you have a foot size 7 ½ or smaller, you will be able to get the kids’ version of the Ugg boots and end up saving a lot of money.
If you are unsure of your exact foot size and shape I can help you figure this out. For example, do you know if you have narrow, medium, wide, or extra wide feet? Do you know if you have a high instep or not?
I help women determine their exact foot size and shape by following 2 simple steps:
Best Ugg Boots for Women ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Below you can find the women’s version of the Ugg boots. Disclosure: Keep in mind that we may receive commissions when you click our links and make purchases.
You should always round up when purchasing Ugg boots. For instance, if your shoe measures size 6 1/2 you should get a size 7.
Another thing to keep in mind is that not all Ugg boots described above are waterproof (only the fourth option from the left is). If the description doesn’t state that the boot is waterproofed, then it isn’t. So, if you want to make your Ugg boot water friendly and to protect it against the rain, snow, dirt, and stains, you should get the Ugg Care Kit. This kit brings everything you need to take care of your Ugg boots.
You will find a Sheepskin cleaner that removes stains (this will keep the boots looking like new), a protector that will prevent your feet from getting wet, and a freshener that will help eliminate odor caused by bacteria.

Do I Recommend Ugg Boots? – Find the Answer Below
I do recommend Ugg boots, as long as you or you wear them for what they are, a fashion item. These boots are “comfort” not “performance footwear.” Just because the brand name boot is better constructed doesn’t mean you can wear them for long periods of time.
I don’t recommend wearing Ugg boots for more than 4 hours a day.
All of these fashion boots will not provide you with the control, cushion or support that a person who is standing or walking needs unless you wear them with an insert that provides arch and ankle support.
I understand that spending between $120 to $180 for a pair of fashion boots is not in all women’s budgets, but in some cases, they end up buying them. For many women, sometimes it becomes a matter of being in style and they put as priority glamour instead of actual foot comfort.
On the other hand, I have seen women that wait for a sale, or for a particular style to be out of season, hence finding it a lot cheaper.
Uggs are fashionable shoes, and that’s how they should be worn. As long as you were them for a few hours a day and you don’t use them for high-impact movements, they will not harm you.
In addition, if you are a woman experiencing foot issues, I recommend you to buy good, supportive footwear. However, this doesn’t mean that you can’t wear the shoes you like! For example, there is a type of insert that fits inside the Ugg boots that will allow you to wear them for longer periods of time. These inserts come with a built-in arch and a heel cup that provides arch and ankle support.
Will these inserts make Ugg boots more supportive? Certainly Yes! This means you can wear them for longer periods of time, but you should still wear the sneakers when doing more intense activities. If you need extra support inside your Ugg boots, this is the insert I have fitted before that I know fits inside the boots and will provide you with arch and ankle support:
You can even use this insert for any other type of footwear such as your everyday sneakers.
